Buttery slow-roasted pecan halves toasted low and slow at 275°F for one hour, crispy golden snack with optional sea salt finish

Forget those candied pecans loaded with sugar.

These are pure, simple, and ridiculously addictive: just pecans, butter, and a whisper of salt if you want it.

The low-and-slow roasting at 275°F coaxes out the nuts’ natural sweetness while the butter crisps them to perfection, no watching required.

Chef Tips

  • Stir pecans halfway through roasting for even browning
  • Salt them while still hot so it sticks
  • Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks
  • Chop and toss over salads, oatmeal, or roasted Brussels sprouts for extra crunch
