Ingredients

2 cups lima beans
2 cups corn
3 tablespoons margarine
½ cup cream
or skim milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon savory
½ teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Cook lima beans 15 to 18 minutes.

Drain and cool, add 2 cups of corn, canned kernel or shaved off an ear of corn.

Add rest of ingredients and simmer on low heat 5 to 10 minutes, put in bowl and serve.
