Directions

In larege saucepan, combine apples, water and cinnamon sticks.

Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until apples are tender.

Remove cinnamon sticks; stir in syrup.

Serve over potato pancakes or pancakes.
