Incredible Rice Krispy Treats
These take the original Rice Krispy treats made with marshmallows to something really delicious and decadent!

1 – 12 ounce package Butterscotch chips
1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
Handful of frozen chocolate chips
Handful of cocktail peanuts
About 7 cups Rice Krispy Cereal

Directions
Put Butterscotch chips in a microwave safe container. Heat at 70% power. Stir and add peanut butter. Heat at 70% power for an additional 15 to 45 seconds, stirring at 15 second intervals, until mixture is completely smooth, except bits of peanuts if using crunchy peanut butter.
Measure 7 cups of Rice Crispies into a large bowl. Add the handful of frozen chips (if they are room temperature, they might melt from hot peanut butterscotch mixture) and handful of peanuts. Pour half of melted mixture over the cereal, chips, and nuts and carefully stir to coat. Bring uncoated cereal up from bottom and add remaining melted mixture. Stir to evenly coat all.
Spray a light coating of Pam or butter a large cake pan. Add above contents and even out in the pan. Chill thoroughly and cut into squares.
Variations….could definitely use chocolate chips and peanut butter melted, then add peanut butter chips and nuts. Can also add to Rice Krispies, the crispy Chinese noodles…like for haystacks.
