Frozen chocolate bananas coated in chocolate syrup and crushed graham crackers. A three-ingredient, no-cook frozen treat that kids can make themselves.

20 minThree ingredients. Zero cooking. Banana halves get frozen until hard, coated in chocolate syrup, and rolled in crushed graham cracker crumbs for a crunchy, chocolatey frozen snack that’s ready to eat immediately or stash in the freezer for later.
The trick is freezing the bananas first. A frozen banana is firm enough to handle during coating, and the cold surface helps the chocolate syrup cling instead of sliding off. The graham cracker crumbs stick to the syrup and add a sandy, sweet crunch that gives each bite more texture than just a plain frozen banana.
This is a great project for kids who want to make their own snack. No sharp tools, no heat, and the whole thing takes about five minutes of active work (plus freezing time). Wrap any extras in moisture-proof wrapping and they keep in the freezer until the craving strikes.
Kitchen Tips
- Freeze the banana halves until completely hard before coating. Soft bananas won’t hold the coating
- Spread the crumbs on wax paper and roll the coated banana across them for even coverage
- Eat right away for a crunchy-coated frozen banana, or wrap and freeze for a firmer, icier texture later
- Crush the graham crackers fine for the best coating adhesion
Variations
- Use crushed Oreo cookies instead of graham crackers for a cookies-and-cream version
- Drizzle with melted peanut butter before rolling in crumbs
- Roll in chopped nuts, sprinkles, or toasted coconut flakes instead of crackers
Ingredients
Directions
Wrap banana halves in wax paper or foil and freeze until hard.
On sheet of wax paper spread half the cracker crumbs; coat 1 banana half with ½ teaspoon syrup, then roll in crumbs.
Repeat procedure with remaining banana half.
