3 hrsChocolate and orange is one of those flavor combinations that just works, and this frozen pie puts it center stage with zero oven time.
A silky filling of melted chocolate, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and orange juice concentrate gets beaten smooth and poured into a chocolate pie shell. Then the freezer takes over.
The result is a dense, creamy, fudgy slice with a bright citrus punch that cuts through all that richness. Want to take it up a notch? Swap the orange juice concentrate for Cointreau, Grand Marnier, or Triple Sec.
Pro Tips
- Let the melted chocolate cool before adding it to the cream cheese mixture; too hot and it can cause the filling to separate
- Beat the orange juice in on medium-high speed for a full minute to get a smooth, airy texture
- Pull the pie from the freezer 10-15 minutes before serving so it slices cleanly without shattering
- A warm knife dipped in hot water makes for bakery-clean slices
