Chewy, fudgy cookies are a cinch to make from boxed brownie mix. Top them with a Hershey's Kiss and watch them disappear!

1 box brownie mix, any variety
1 egg
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons water
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Appx. 30 Hershey's Kisses, any variety (but the Hugs version looks especially nice on these)

Directions

Heat oven to 350℉ (180℃). In a large bowl, stir together brownie mix, egg, oil and water until batter forms a large ball and pulls away from sides of bowl. (Batter will be very thick.) Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. DO NOT flatten balls. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until just set in center. Do not overbake. Cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet before transferring to cookie platter. Cool 5 minutes more, then sift powdered sugar over tops of cookies. Lightly place an unwrapped Hershey's Kiss in center of cookie. Do not press down. Remaining heat from cookie will melt Kiss just enough to make it stick to cookie without losing its shape.
