45 minThis isn’t your typical red sauce lasagna, and that’s exactly the point.
Lasagne bianco skips the tomato entirely and builds its layers with a silky garlic-and-thyme cream sauce, tender asparagus, julienned ham, and melted mozzarella.
The whole thing comes together quickly, and the microwave finish means you’re eating in under 45 minutes.
It’s lighter than a traditional lasagna but still feels indulgent, with that stretchy cheese pull that makes everyone reach for another helping.
Kitchen Tips
- Cut the cooked lasagna noodles in half crosswise so they fit neatly in the baking dish and layer evenly
- Stir the cream sauce constantly while it thickens to avoid lumps
- Rotate the dish twice during microwaving for even cooking; hot spots are real
