Ingredients

6 each kiwi fruit peeled and cut into 8 wedges
2 cups honeydew melon cut into 1 inch cube
2 cups cantaloupe cut into 1 inch cube
1 each papaya medium size, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch chunks
1 tablespoon sugar or honey
2 tablespoons mint leaves fresh
1 teaspoon orange zest finely grated
2 tablespoons orange juice fresh
1 1/2 teaspoons lime juice fresh

Directions

Combine cubed kiwifruit, honeydew, cantaloupe, and papaya in a large serving bowl.

Place sugar or honey and remaining ingredients in a mini chopper food processor; pulse until mint is finely chopped.

Pour sugar mixture over fruit, and stir gently to coat.

Serve.

This salad can be refrigerated for a day.

Good breakfast recipe, I have done this fruit salad several times, it is really a good way to combine all these melon fruits together, fresh orange juice and chopped mint leaves give these mixed fruits delicious flavor, and it is always a good start with these nice fruits salad.

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS RECIPE FOR A LONG TIME. I FIRST SAW IT BACK IN 1995 OR 1996 IN TASTE OF HOME MAGAZINE AND IT WAS DELICIOUS!! TRY ADDING A LITTLE BROWN SUGAR TO THE TOMATO SAUCE MIXTURE. IT MAKES A PERFECT GLAZE FOR THESE MEATBALLS.
