It was a chickpea day for me yesterday. Made two different chickpea salads, this is one of them and comes from our member "Franklinfamily". The flavor was refreshingly delicious.
Yum. The combination of asparagus and mushrooms inside the omelet was packed with flavor, and it went deliciously well with omelette.
A refreshingly delicious chickpea and pea salad is packed with goodness. Chunks of feta cheese, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes are tossed with chickpea, peas, fresh mint, basil, and a lemon juice-red wine vinegar vinaigrette. A perfect summer salad.

It's the weekend but freezing out and I wanted BBQ and fries without all the greasyness. So I grabbed some chicken legs out the freezer and some regular french fries. Realized I had a sweet potatoe left by the fruit and got to cooking. For the BBQ sauce I went with what I had which was a thicker base (Sweet Baby Rays) and a thinner one (Lizard Lick). They were on sale at the time when grocery shopping along with being Gluten free so I went with it. My measurements are definitely just a guide because I just throw as I go lol.

Used roma tomatos, basil and parsley from the garden, which made the soup super refreshing and tasty. Just make sure that when you puree the soup in your blender, use a towel to cover the lid tightly; or just use a hand mixer directly.
The first time I tried this version of the recipe, I ate it for all three meals. LOVED it! If you have leftovers, toss in a can of tomatoes, a can of white beans, and whatever veggies you have in the fridge, and make yourself a tasty soup.

Instead of using cake mix to make a cake, we use whole wheat pastry flour to make a tart, and we fill up the tart with sliced apples, sprinkling with some sugar, after making this delicious and healthy apple tart, we decorate with fresh blueberries and strawberries. Definitely will impress everyone, and enjoy this delicious flag apple tart without guilt.
