A veggie hating friend was over dinner and declared "wow, if my mom made vegetables like this!" as he went for seconds. The maple coated cashews are excellent in this recipe and the gentle touch of sweetness balanced with the curry is great.
This is my version of the wonderful dish known as General Tso's Chicken (sometimes also called General Chicken.) I use quite a bit of ground chilies in my recipe. (If you prefer a milder version just reduce the amount of ground chilies.)
It may be a basic way to make this fish mousse, but the flavor was definitely very sophisticated. Light, silken-smooth with the creamy and rich Hollandaise sauce that Sean made from the scratch, it was an ultimate enjoyment!
An easy and simply delicious salad.
This classic favorite is perfect with a cup of tea or coffee. No need to spend $3 for a slice at Starbucks, it's much better to make it yourself.
Next time make your own sauerkraut instead of store-bought, it's so easy to make, and there is no comparison between this two versions. Homemade one tastes a lot better, I just made my second bunch. I finished the first bunch within 3 days :-)
My wife has an excellent recipe for White Bread brought to this country from her grandmother who was originally from Poland. Makes 5 loaves. Typically, this style of bread would be served with baked ham. However it can go with almost anything. Stale leftovers can make excellent French toast.
Cheesy, moist and very flavorful. The combination of mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil pesto make this delicious bread. The bread itself tastes absolutely divine.
This is an excellent way to prepare beets. Reminiscent of potato pancakes, shredded beets and carrots are mixed with eggs and then cooked in a skillet until crispy on the outside. The earthy sweetness of the beets go perfectly with the creamy yogurt dill sauce, simply delicious!
White-chocolate snowflakes balance gracefully on a delicate, lemony three-layer white cake filled with zesty lemon custard and covered with a white-chocolate frosting.
An excellent breakfast bread that's made with whole wheat flour, white flour, oats, pumpkin, walnuts and chocolate chips. The cinnamon sugar is swirled into the bread brushed with melted butter. The aroma will fill up your entire house during the baking, and it gives you great flavor, texture and nutrient. Also it can be a very good gift that your friends or family will love for sure!
These lovely biscuits are made with cheddar, parmesan, buttermilk and assorted fresh herbs. They are golden-brown outside, cheesy, herby and moist inside, have both great taste and texture.
Great recipe, measurements worked out perfectly. Used the resulting jelly with Apple stuffed pork chops (linked below). The sweet slightly tart would work great with some spice, perhaps red pepper flakes added for a sweet-spicy kick.
This dish is a hearty meal itself. The puttanesca and fra diavolo in the sauce produce a memorable accompaniment to shrimp as well as mussels, clams or even canned or frozen lobster meat.
Excellent and very quick and easy to make. A very mild Indian style feel. The tomatoes added a tasty sauce for the tender pork medallions. Will make again.
This delicious chocolate bundt cake contains ground flax seeds, chopped walnuts, buttermilk and bittersweet chocolate, not only tasty but also full of goodness.
