Beer batter/9 recipes

A scrumptious and succulent crockpot dish made with a savory pork roast, jalapeno peppers and light beer.

Every year before my grandkids come over to my place, I usually bake a large batch of these cookies, and everyone loves them. I do however add some chocolate chips to the batter, and they are some great addition.

The following is a Sugar Pie recipe that came from Northern Indiana and is an old Amish recipe. It is very, very good - and different. This will not be a firm custard, so don't despair if it doesn't look like the custard pies you are accustomed to!
