Summer/9 recipes

Every year around summer, this recipe always pops out. Finally made the words into the cake, and it actually turned out moist and delicious. Just finished the final piece earlier this morning for breakfast, with freshly brewed coffee. Very good. Do you like figs and what's your favorite way to enjoy it? "Lobster Newberg. Also "lobster a la Newburg"...The dish was made famous at Delmonico's Restaurant in New York in 1876 when the recipe was brought to chef Charles Ranhofer by a West Indies sea captain named Ben Wenberg. It was an immediate hit, especially for after-theater suppers, and owner Charles Delmonico honored the capatain by naming the dish "lobster a la Wenberg." But later Wenberg and Delmonico had a falling-out, and the restauranteur took the dish off the menu, restoring it only by popular demand by renaming it "lobster a la Newberg," reversing the first three letters of the captain's name.

Such a flavorful and refreshing rice salad that is ideal on a warm spring day or a hot summer day, especially it's best served once chilled. Feel free to add cucumber, radishes or any your favorite spring veggies.

This recipe impressed me, turned out delicious! The chicken breasts were just perfectly cooked and very succulent, the mustard sauce added the extra yumminess. Will be making it again for sure.

While visiting Seattle one summer, We ate at an upscale restaurant and I ordered a dish called Chicken and pine nuts in brown sause.. it was one of the best chicken dishes I've ever eaten.. and when I found this recipe, I was hoping it was the same one.. Well I think it is, if it's not exact, it's really close and it was so worth all the work to make it tonight.. Everyone enjoyed it..

This is a real ice cream that can beat Hagen daz. It's silky and creamy, toasted almonds infused custard has a rich and delicious almond taste. Toasted almond chunks being added at the end of the churning give the ice cream another layer of nutty and rich almond flavor and a little crunchiness when you have it in your mouth. A pure indulgence and enjoyment.

Simply Incredible!!! I have never had a quiche recipe work for me. They always end up a soupy mess and leave me frustrated and dejected. This one turned out so wonderfully and gorgeous - pretty enough for company. It tasted fantastic. I used a quiche pan instead of a 9" pie pan(as I said I never had one turn out, but it doesn't stop me from trying) ;-) If you like chorizo and want to try a quiche recipe that is totally fool proof - THIS IS THE ONE!!! Yummy!!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

This is an easy to make pumpkin pie, and the flavor is also wonderful. A great dessert for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
