Italian sausage/3 recipes

Tasty vegetable and lentil base topped with mashed potato. Lovely healthy comfort food for a winter night :D Note: though the list of ingredients can at first be daunting, dont be put off. Most are just seasoning that can be added at your own pace.

This is always a hit! I tweaked it by using 1/2 c oil and 3/4 c orange juice and it turned out great. We made these into muffins and put them in gift bags for our out-of-town guests at our wedding and they all loved them. For muffins, we baked at 350 for 25 minutes and it made about 22 muffins per batch.

Using a box cake mix as a base is a time saver; substituting cream cheese for mascarpone is a money saver. Tastes like the real thing, is beautiful and surprisingly light.

An easy and tasty chowder is made with corn, potatoes and kielbasa. Some steamed rice or a few slices of good bread will help to soak up all the yumminess. A perfect week-night meal.

It's hard to believe a handful of spinach with a few simple ingredients can turn into something very special. You might want to make a double batch.

Very Good. The breading was loose so I think I would brown it next time.
