This version of the classic Jewish passover potato dish is much lighter and fluffier than the old fashioned variety.

Pieces of almonds, dried apricots, cranberries, prunes and chocolate chips are tossed with creamy peanut butter, oats, a bit honey and ground flax seeds. These delicious granola bars are perfect for grap-go breakfast.

Note from Julia: The following directions are for a hand-beaten sauce. Exactly the same system is followed for an electric beater. Use the large bowl, and the moderately fast speed for whipping cream. Continually push the sauce into the beater blades with a rubber scraper.

These chewy chocolate-cherry cookies were our sweet treats for the trip. These cookies were seriously packed with chocolate. They were made with cocoa powder and chocolate chips, and dried cherries added some delicious tartiness. The cookies were chewy, crispy and super chocolaty.They certainly satisfied our chocolate cravings with all the other yummy bonuses.

So delicious, moist and flavourful. It was a HUGE hit at our family dinner last night! I actually doubled the batch and it was still perfect...
