Combination recipes

A simple combination of flour, seasonings, and butter are all the ingredients you need.

Strawberries and Rhubarb is a classic combination. The strawberries deliver the sweetness and the rhubarb delivers the tang in these easy to make muffins that use one of the first signs of Spring, Rhubarb.

I use McIntosh or a combination of McIntosh & Cortlands as my family and I prefer a softer apple filling that holds together (I NEVER use Granny Smiths)...

"Kohlrouladen" used to be a staple on the menu for regular people in Germany during winter time. For sure the ground meat can vary depending on preferences or diets - I bet quite often in the "good old times " regular people did not exactly know what's in the ground meat they got from the butcher - at least it was some meat, for most of the families only once a week.

By using mostly whole wheat flour, a combination of applesauce, butter and olive oil makes this key lime cake much healthier and lighter than your regular key lime cake. It still tastes absolutely delcious, will for sure satisfy your palate without guilt.

An easy and tasty frittata. It's also a great way to use up your leftover vegetables from the day before to make a delicious breakfast. It's very versatile, you can pretty much add any veggies or cooked chicken, or seafood, etc...

Rehydrated Porcini mushrooms and parmesan cheese make these gnocchi taste cheesy, earthy and flavorful. Roast the gnocchi in the oven gives the nice flavor and texture. Serving them with the sauteed mushrooms and thymes.

Traditionally cantucci combine with vin Santo generally or liqueur wines, although they are very good even with the dry wines such as sparkling wines.

Blond brownies with a combination of butterscotch chips, chocolate chips studded with pecans.

My favorite pierogi are filled with the veal lung or the brown lentils. Why not to combine these ingredients into the one filling?

These scones have a fine, dense crumb with a little orange and cinnamon - a delicious combination of texture and flavour.
