Directions
Heat oil, brown ham and onion in heavy skillet.
Add ½ cup boiling water and vegetables, cover.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat.
Simmer until vegetables are just tender, about 6 to 10 minutes.
Do not overcook vegetables.
