candy coating

Directions

Melt butter in a 15×10×1 inch jellyroll pan.

Spread pecans evenly in pan.

Bake at 300℉ (150℃). for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

Place candy coating in top of a double boiler, bring water to a boil.

Reduce heat to low; cook until coating melts.

Cool 2 minutes, add pecans, and stir until coated.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool.
