Directions
- Trim and rinse the soup vegetables, peel in necessary and dice very dice very finely. Peel and rinse the potatoes and cut into 1 cm cubes. Rinse the lentils in cold water in a sieve and put into a pan with the vegetables, potatoes, bay leaf, thyme and stock. Bring to the boil and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
- Peel and dice the onion. Dice the bacon. Heat the clarified butter in a small frying pans and slowly fry the onions and bacon over a low heat. Then dust with paprika and fry briefly.
- Add the bacon mixture to the lentils and reheat briefly.
