Instant Cinnamon Rolls
These cinnamon rolls are ready in a snap. There is no mixing, kneading, or resting necessary. 10
1 pkg refrigerated breadsticks
1 Tbsp margarine or butter, melted
4 tsp granulated or brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup raisins or chopped walnuts
1 recipe Orange Icing
Unroll breadsticks. Place breadsticks on a piece of waxed paper. Flatten each breadstick slightly. Brush breadsticks with melted butter.
Combine cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle mixture over breadstick dough. Press raisins or walnuts into dough. Roll up each breadstick. Seal and place in a greased 8-inch round baking pan. Bake at 350℉ (180℃) for 25 minutes until golden. Transfer rolls to a wire rack and drizzle with Orange Icing. Serve warm.
Orange Icing: Combine ½ cup sifted powdered sugar, ½ teaspoon finely shredded orange peel, ¼ teaspoon vanilla, and 2 to 3 teaspoon orange juice.
