Easy Apple Cider Glazed Green Beans
Crisp yet tender green beans glazed a coating of reduced apple cider. Brings your green bean side dish to life.

Put beans in a large microwave safe bowl, loosely cover bowl with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Uncover and stir beans, then cover and microwave on high 4 to 7 minutes.
Heat small skillet over medium low heat. Add olive oil and onion and cook until starting to caramelize, about 10 minutes. Add cider, raise heat to med-high and cook until liquid is reduced and syrupy.
Remove beans from microwave and season with salt and pepper. Add to pan with onions and cider. Toss to coat.
