Dragonfruit and Coconut Smoothie

 

This tropical fruit is not only beautiful to look at, but is also highly nutritious. It contains significant amounts of heart-healthy fibre, antioxidants, vitamin C and has been shown to keep blood glucose levels stable. Chia seeds provide a boost of omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients

1 bananas
frozen in chunks (this makes blending easier)?

1 dragon fruit
peeled and cut into chunks

1 cup coconut water
fresh

1 teaspoon chia seeds
soaked for 15mins in 2 Tbsp of water?

½ cup coconut
fresh young
*
Ice cubes

Directions

Put all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until thick.
