| 4 | pounds | beef chuck roast | |
| 1 | x | salt and black pepper | |
| 2 | each | onions | sliced |
| 10 | ounces | beef broth | |
| 1/3 | cup | honey | or liquid brown sugar |
| 1/3 | cup | cider vinegar | |
| 8 | each | gingersnap cookies | |
| 1 | x | noodles |
Sprinkle roast on all sides with salt & pepper. Place roast in crockpot, add onion, broth, brown sugar & vinegar. Cover tightly, cook 5-6 hours on high. Remove roast & set aside. Add crumbled gingersnaps to the sauce in the crockpot. Stir until sauce thickens. Slice meat and serve sauce over slices. Serve with noodles.
My fiancee and I just got a crockpot as a gift and made this today (first use of the dang thing), it was excellent! Thumbs up.

Everyone thinks the Christmas holidays is the only time period where you pack on pounds because of food. This statement may be true when you look at other holidays like Easter, St. Patrick’s Day and New Year’s Eve, but what about Thanksgiving?...
I give this recipe a 5 star rating and I used it with regular fish. (Northern)I also had asparagus spears, and used the hollandaise on both. A little garlic toast, and WOW, what a meal.
