Ingredients

2 cups rolled oats uncooked (quick or old-fashioned)
4 cups bread cubes, dry
1/2 cup butter or margarine,
1 medium onion grated
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning optional
1/4 teaspoon sage optional
2 tablespoons water

Directions

Place oats and bread cubes in large bowl.

Combine remaining ingredients.

Add to oats mixture; toss gently to mix.

Stuff lightly into body cavity and neck region of turkey.

Roast according to standard roasting directions.
