Ingredients

3 ounce package gelatin lime flavored
1 cup water hot
1/2 cup water cold
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest grated
1 teaspoon onion grated
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 medium cucumber peeled and chopped
1/3 cup green olives onion-stuffed

Directions

Dissolve gelatin in hot water.

Add cold water, lemon juice, lemon rind, onion, and salt.

Chill until slighlty thickened.

Fold in cucumber and olives.

Pour into a 1-quart mold and chill until firm.

Michelle's Best Snickerdoodle

This recipe is excellent!! Your sister has good taste. I know recipes are passed along all the time without knowing the origin, however I do know where this one originated. This recipe comes from Betty Crocker cookbook copyright 1969. My son now 28 and I made this recipe all the time while he was growing up. A wonderful recipe to do with children.
