| 3 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 6 | tablespoons | sugar | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1 | tablespoon | baking powder | |
| 3 | large | eggs | |
| 3 | cups | buttermilk | |
| 4 | tablespoons | butter | melted |
| 1 | cup | cherries, dried | soaked in 1 cup water 10 minutes, drained |
| 1/3 | cup | macadamia nuts | roughly chopped |
| 1 1/2 | cups | whipped cream |
Sift flour, salt, sugar, baking soda and baking powder into a bowl.
Beat eggs, buttermilk and butter in a second bowl.
Mix together wet and dry ingredients, and stir until slightly lumpy.
Dab 1/4 cup batter on heated, oiled griddle.
Sprinkle 1/2 of the cherries and nuts over pancakes before turning to second side.
Serve sprinkled with remainder of cherries and nuts, topped with 2 ounces of whipped cream per servings.

I changed the all-purpose flour into the whole wheat flour, and I used the low-fat milk too, much healthier, still goes very well,
