Ingredients

1 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
3 each egg yolks
2 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or lemon extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Decorate with
1 x colored sugar crystals
1 x nuts
1 x candied cherries

Directions

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.

Add well-beaten egg yolks, add extracts.

Mix in half the flour, then turn on a floured board and knead in balance of flour.

Roll out and cut with Christmas tree, star and Santa Claus cutters.

Place on greased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees F.

Decorate with colored sugar, nuts and candied cherries.
