Ingredients

1/4cup vegetable shortening
3tablespoons cocoa powder baking
1each egg
1/2cup sugar
1/4teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2cup flour, all-purpose
1/4teaspoon baking powder
1/8teaspoon salt
1/4cup walnuts chopped

Directions

In a small mixing bowl, cream shortening and cocoa; beat in egg, sugar and vanilla.

Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture.

Beat on low speed until thoroughly combined.

Stir in walnuts.

Pour into a greased 8x4x2 inch loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

Chicken Cordon Bleu in Pastry

This recipe is delicious and easy to make -- great for company too. The only drawback is that the puff pasty contains lots of trans fat :(
