Use real, freshly grated parmesan from a block. Pre-grated cheese has anti-caking agents that prevent it from melting smoothly into the butter. The taste difference is significant.

Directions

Combine butter, Parmesan cheese and poppy seeds; spread on both sides of each piece of bread.
