| 2 | tablespoons | chives | fresh, finely sliced |
| 1 | tablespoon | thyme leaves | fresh, finely chopped |
| 1 | tablespoon | parsley leaves | italian, fresh, finely chopped |
| 1 | tablespoon | sage | fresh, finely chopped |
| 5 | ounces | butter | unsalted |
| 1 1/2 | cup | milk | |
| 2 | large | eggs | beaten |
Sift dry ingredients together. Stir in chopped fresh herbs. Heat butter and milk until butter is melted. Cool slightly before whisking in eggs. Quickly whisk in dry ingredients.
Make waffles according to waffle iron instructions, greasing iron well - or make as small pancakes in a non-stick skillet.

Delicious! Some of the best banana bread we've made. I accidently left out the buttermilk, but it turned out fine. A definate keeper!
