| 2 | pounds | hawaiian fish | |
| 1/2 | cup | cilantro leaves | fresh |
| 1 | x | salt | to taste |
| 1 | x | black pepper | to taste |
| Papaya relish | |||
| 1/4 | cup | white onion | minced |
| 1 1/4 | cups | papayas | ripe, diced |
| 3/4 | cup | sweet red bell pepper | diced |
| 1/4 | cup | cilantro | fresh, chopped |
| 1 | tablespoon | ginger | fresh, minced |
| 2 | tablespoons | olive oil | |
| 2 | tablespoons | lemon juice | |
Cut fish into 6 equal portions and heat.
Arrange papaya relish and hot fish equally on 6 warm plates.
Garnish plates with cilantro.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
-Papaya Relish-
In a fine strainer, rinse white onion.
Soak onion in ice water for 30 minutes; drain.
Mix with rest of relish ingredients.
