| 2 | tablespoons | vegetable oil | |
| 1 | each | garlic clove | chopped |
| 2 | small | green chili peppers | finely chopped |
| 4 | ounces | noodles | |
| 1 | small | onion | cut into segments |
| 1 | medium | tomato | cut into segments |
| 4 | each | kaffir lime leaves | roughly chopped |
| 6 | each | basil | |
| 1 | teaspoon | soy sauce, dark | |
| 2 | tablespoons | soy sauce, light | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | sugar | |
| 1 | small | green bell pepper | finely chopped |
In a wok or frying pan/skillet, heat the oil until a light haze appears.
Add the garlic and chilis and fry until the garlic is golden brown.
Add the noodles, stir, add the remaining ingredients and stir well until the peppers begin to cook but are still al dente.
Turn on to a dish.

I have used this recipe for years and my family and friends love it. I was so upset to have miss placed the cookbook with the recipe in it. I have all these overripe bananas and am so glad to have been able to get my hands on another copy.
