Ingredients

1 package cake mix yellow
2 large eggs
2/3 cup cranberry juice cocktail
1 x orange zest small
3 tablespoons relish cranberry-orange
1/4 cup nuts finely chopped
1 x food coloring red

Directions

Combine cake mix, eggs, cranberry juice and orange rind; beat until smooth, following beating directions on package.

Remove 1/3 of batter and add relish and nuts.

Add enough food coloring to make batter a deep red.

Spoon light and dark batters alternately into greased and floured 9x5x3andquot; loaf pan.

Bake in moderate oven 350 F. for 65-70 minutes, or until cake tests done.

Let stand in pan 5 minutes, then turn out on rack and let stand until cool.

To decoreate, frost top and sides of cake with your favorite frosting.

Makes one 9x5x3andquot; loaf.
