| 1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 3 | cups | apples | diced and peeled |
| 1 | cup | nuts | chopped |
| sauce | |||
| 1 | teaspoon | butter | |
| 1 | cup | brown sugar | |
| 1/4 | cup | milk | |
| 1 | tablespoon | vanilla extract | |
Mix oil, sugar and eggs.
Add sifted ingredients, baking soda, apples and nuts.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
Simmer Sauce for 3 minutes, then pour over warm cake.
