| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1/2 | cup | sugar | |
| 2 | teaspoons | baking powder | |
| 2 | tablespoons | cocoa powder | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 2 | tablespoons | vegetable oil | |
| 1/4 | cup | walnuts | optional |
| 1/2 | cup | soy milk | |
| Sauce | |||
| 1/4 | cup | cocoa powder | |
| 3/4 | cup | brown sugar | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | water | boiling |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cake: Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Mix in the walnuts if using.
Stir in the soy milk and mix until well blended.
Spread the batter into an ungreased 8 inch baking tin.
Set aside.
Sauce: Combine the cocoa powder and sugar.
Pour the boiling water over the mixture.
Stir well to ensure that it is all dissolved.
Gently pour over the batter.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the cake tests done.
Set aside to cool before serving.

General:Caraway Seed is actually the fruit of a biennial herb in the parsley family, known as Carum carvi. The seed is about 1/5-inch long and tapered at the ends. The hard seed shells have five pale ridges....
I made it for my kids, added more peaches, used the low-fat yogurt, my two kids ate up all the yogurt very soon, they let me do it again tomorrow!
