| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1/3 | cup | pastry flour, whole wheat | |
| 1/2 | cup | buckwheat flour | |
| 2 | tablespoons | sugar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 4 | teaspoons | baking powder | |
| 2 | large | eggs | slightly beaten |
| 4 | tablespoons | butter | melted |
| 1 1/2 | cups | buttermilk | |
| 1/2 | cup | milk | |
| 2 | each | bananas | mashed, ripe |
----- In a large bowl, combine flours, sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
In another bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Add liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring well.
Drop by 1/3 cupfuls onto a 340 degree griddle.

Sauces come in a seemingly infinite number of styles. The ingredients, methods, and applications for sauces almost know no bounds. And while sauces certainly vary in terms of their viscosity, thickening them is an oft-needed......
A very nice risotto, lovely mingling of rich flavors. Lots of work with all that stirring putting the love into the dish. The results are certainly worth it.
