| 3 | cups | apricots, dried | |
| 3/4 | cup | candied ginger | sliced |
| 1/2 | cup | orange juice | |
| 1/4 | cup | lemon juice | |
| 5 | cups | water | cold |
| 2 | teaspoons | orange zest | grated |
| 1 | teaspoon | lemon zest | grated |
| 2 1/4 | cups | sugar | |
| 1/2 | cup | nuts | chopped |
Wash apricots. Add water, ginger, orange and lemon juice, grated rind, and sugar. Stir until well mixed. Simmer slowly, stirring frequently, until thick and clear. Add nuts and cook 5 minutes.
