The classic onion tea sandwich: thin sweet onion and mayonnaise on rounds of soft egg bread, with the edges rolled in minced parsley for a pretty green rim. A retro cocktail-party favorite.

This is a good "guest" food. You can appear to have mastered esoteric Oriental cooking techniques without ever having actually prepared the dish before... Unless you drop the pot on the kitchen floor and set it on fire with the hot salt, it's a pretty foolproof cooking technique.

I made this for our Pesach Seder (Passover Meal) last week, and it came out pretty well :) I've just written this up from memory for a friend who asked, so it might not be 100% accurate! Let me know if you try it and have changes to add :)
