These decadent cherry cream cheese bars will well satisfy your cravings for something rich and sweet. They are made with whole wheat flour, light cream cheese, homemade cherry pie filling, a small amount of butter and some olive oil. Much healthier but still tastes delicious. Nobody can resist these sweets, the more importantly you don't have to feel guilty about it.
Easy, delicious and packed with goodness. They are great for breakfast, lunch or snack.
Make your pasta dishes seem authentic with this spaghetti sauce made of Italian sausage, tomatoes and a variety of spices.
Warm and cheesy hors d’oeuvres that are easy to make. Bacon, cheddar and spinach naturally go together and are oh so tasty.
These cherry cream cheese bars were divine. The cream cheese added the rich creaminess; I made my own cherry pie filling, which was packed with cherry flavour and not super sweet, also did a few changes to make these bars healthier (see the linked recipe below) but still decadent.

Tasty eggs for any party!
This version of the garlicky roasted eggplant dip does not have tahini in it as with a traditional version. While I really like an "authentic" baba ghanoush, I also enjoy the commercial Sabra brand, which uses mayo and some spices. It is slightly sweet and has a little kick. This is my rendition.
THese made the rounds in our neighborhood this holiday season. Everyone wanted the recipe.
This prosciutto, fontina and sun-dried tomato tart was brilliant. The combination of these three ingredients and the buttery-crispy puff pastry was absolutely delicious!
This savory tart definitely impressed me. The puff pastry was so buttery and crispy after baking, which went deliciously well with creamy goat cheese, lemon zest and fresh rosemary leaves. All the flavors were just perfectly balanced, YUM!
This is the best lassagna I have ever tried, basil-pesto definitely gave the whole lasagna tons of tasty flavor, also used low-fat milk and cheese, reduced the amount of fat, but the sauce was still creamy, asparagus was tender-crispy between the layered creamy stuffed noodles.
Something about bacon goes so well with spinach. Using a hot bacon dressing wilts the spinach just the perfect amount, not rubbery and not too mushy and packed with flavor.
This is always a hit! I tweaked it by using 1/2 c oil and 3/4 c orange juice and it turned out great. We made these into muffins and put them in gift bags for our out-of-town guests at our wedding and they all loved them. For muffins, we baked at 350 for 25 minutes and it made about 22 muffins per batch.
These roasted sweet potatoes go perfectly with the smoky and mildly spiced tangy lime sour cream. Definitely inspires you to cook sweet potatoes more often!
