Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Peanut butter and chocolate chips are probably two of the best things in the world, and both of them can be found in these cookies, yum! Even better that these cookies are made with oats, whole wheat flour, most olive oil and a small amount of butter, which will not make you feel bad about enjoying these sweets and are good for you in a big way!

Chicken with Pine Nuts
Chicken with Pine Nuts

While visiting Seattle one summer, We ate at an upscale restaurant and I ordered a dish called Chicken and pine nuts in brown sause.. it was one of the best chicken dishes I've ever eaten.. and when I found this recipe, I was hoping it was the same one.. Well I think it is, if it's not exact, it's really close and it was so worth all the work to make it tonight.. Everyone enjoyed it..

Fourth of July Flag Apple Tart
Fourth of July Flag Apple Tart

Instead of using cake mix to make a cake, we use whole wheat pastry flour to make a tart, and we fill up the tart with sliced apples, sprinkling with some sugar, after making this delicious and healthy apple tart, we decorate with fresh blueberries and strawberries. Definitely will impress everyone, and enjoy this delicious flag apple tart without guilt.

Wood-Grilled Trout with Mission Fig Compound Butter
Wood-Grilled Trout with Mission Fig Compound Butter

Beer pairing suggestion: American India pale ale or amber ale. The Stone World Bistro & Gardens, in Escondido, California, serves wood-grilled trout with black mission fig butter to make it taste even milder and sweeter. Mission figs are available in the dried fruit section of most large supermarkets. Untreated wood planks for grilling are available in grilling and barbecue sections of hardware store s as well as some supermarkets.

Fresh Peach Tart
Fresh Peach Tart

Fresh peaches fill into an almond and flour crust, the sweetness, slightly sourness, and refreshing taste from the peaches go very well with the nutty crusty. It's a light, fruity and delicious dessert that fits a hot summer day wonderfully!

Martini Steak

Grilled sirloin steak marinated in gin, dry vermouth, garlic, and herbs, garnished with pimento-stuffed olives. A cocktail-inspired steak with real martini flavor.

Kale & Two Cheese Scones
Kale & Two Cheese Scones

Craving a breakfast treat that's hearty, cheesy, and not overly sweet. These kale and cheese scones are your new best friend. Inspired by the cozy vibes of an American bakery, we've packed them with tender kale, sharp cheddar, nutty Parmessan, and a hint of plump raisins for a subtle sweetness that balances the savory kick. A generous grind of black pepper adds a spicy edge, making these perfect for brunch, snacks, or even alongside soup.

Smoky Spice Crusted Tofu
Smoky Spice Crusted Tofu

Very simple, quick and easy recipe. Might even coax some non-tofu people to give it a try. The slices are coated with a gentle smoky spice mixture and cooked in a blackened Cajun style to a lightly crispy exterior then finished with a honey lemon glaze. Great color and great flavor to an otherwise humble protein. Try to find smoked paprika if you can or add a few drops of liquid smoke to the marinade.

Plain sooji idli/rava idli/semolina idli
Plain sooji idli/rava idli/semolina idli

Sooji idli, a quick and simple tea-time snack that is low in fat, this is a perfect option for health conscious people. I’ve used low-fat curds to impart a nice taste and to make the idlis soft. For a wholesome evening snack of just 150 calories, serve three idlis with green chutney, page. . . . Make sure that you make the idlis as soon as you have added the fruit salt to the batter to ensure a fluffy product.

5 Star Prime Rib Roast
5 Star Prime Rib Roast

"Prime rib is one of the most delectable dinners there is. We order it in our favorite upscale restaurant on special occasions, but few consider they have the skill to make it at home. Yes, you do and here's how. It will compare to the finest you've ever eaten and you'll be be amazed at how easy it is to do. It's not a budget dinner, so go to a reputable butcher and buy the best quality 'Prime' Rib roast available.

An Absolutely Perfect Roast Goose!+
An Absolutely Perfect Roast Goose!+

I have made a Thanksgiving goose every year for at least 15 years. I have steadily gained on making the perfect bird but I finally found the greatest recipe ever in Cook's Magazine. The divine part of this approach to cooking the goose is that it employs some of the eastern method of drying the skin which is used in Peking Duck. The skin simply drops all its fat and leaves a crispy, dry, delectable skin that folks fight over! No more rubbery, yucky goose skin full of fat!

Simple Cucumber & Tomatoes sandwich
Simple Cucumber & Tomatoes sandwich

Tomato Cucumber Sandwich has always been a favorite of mine. I remember I used to ask my mom to make them, when we used to go for picnics. She would lovingly make them and nicely wrap them in aluminim foil. They would not get mushy or moist, even after 3-4 hours. These sandwiches can also be made for children’s school tiffin as well as wrapped and taken while travelling. However, its better to consume them within 4-5 hours.

Baked Spring Roll
Baked Spring Roll

An exciting blend of vegetables and spices is sealed inside wrappers, then baked until crisp. Delicious and crunchy without deep frying! I’ll keep it short today. I’d like to think that all or almost all of you already know how to make spring rolls. They are one of my fave finger foods and ever since I’ve come across the oven-baked version, I’ve nominated them as my no1 Savoury Stuff, way better than deep fried street food and packaged crisps/ chips.

Watermelon Punch

Watermelon punch combines fresh watermelon balls and juice with brandy, simple syrup, and lemon-lime soda, served in a hollowed-out watermelon shell. A showstopping summer party drink for backyard crowds.

No-Bake Banana Oatmeal Cookies
No-Bake Banana Oatmeal Cookies

What makes these vegan cookies even more apeeling is that they require no baking time, limiting the flop factor which can intimidate so many novice bakers. They are not only high in fibre and without refined white sugar, but they also include the beneficial qualities of coconut oil and the (very on-trend) chia seeds. Smashed out in ten minutes and placed in the fridge until set, you can chill out at the same time, knowing they will turn out fab! No bake, no problem!

Persian Swiss Chard & Dill Frittata
Persian Swiss Chard & Dill Frittata

Get ready to whip up a vibrant, herb-packed dish that’s bursting with flavor and perfect for any meal of the day! This Persian-inspired frittata is a fresh twist on the classic omelet, blending tender Swiss chard, fragrant dill, and zesty scallions into a fluffy, golden masterpiece. Baked to perfection, it’s easy to make and even easier to love. Serve it with warm flatbread, a sprinkle of feta, or a side of crisp veggies for a delightful meal. Let’s dive into this green goodness!
