Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Grease a 20 cm|8” square tin.
  2. Slice the peats and toss in the lemon juice. Set aside.
  3. Melt the butter, sugar and syrup together in a large pan over a low heat. Remove from the heat.
  4. Add the rolled oats, cinnamon and salt and stir well.
  5. Press half the mixture into the tin and smooth the top. Cover with the pear slices, then with the remaining oat mixture and press smooth. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
