Directions

Using a little olive oil and garlic in a 8 quart pot, cook beef until it is no longer pink. Drain off oil.

Add tomatoes, tomato paste to beef and stir.

Stir in wine, rosemary, oregano, basil, bay leaves, and salt to pot and begin to simmer on the lowest possible flame.

Cook sausage in a covered frying pan with 1 inch of water until medium well, drain water and add to sauce.

Simmer for 3 hours, stirring every 10 to 15 minutes.
