CAN CAN CHICKEN BROTH
canned *

TABLESPOONS ML BUTTER
1 1
SMALL SMALL ONIONS
diced

OUNCES ML/G COUNTRY HAM
shredded *

TEASPOON ML BLACK PEPPER

Directions

Rinse and drain beans. Using a food processor or blender, purée one-half can of beans and half of chicken broth. Set aside.

Melt butter in Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add onion and sauté 5 minutes or until onion is tender.

Add ham and sauté 10 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring constantly.

Add bean purée, beans, and broth. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer.

Add pepper. Simmer 10 minutes.

Serve with freshly baked and buttered cornbread.
