4 hrsThese crunchy little clusters are the ultimate no-bake treat. Melt chocolate chips, butterscotch morsels, and peanut butter together in a double boiler, stir in Rice Krispies cereal, and drop them by the spoonful onto wax paper.
That’s the whole recipe. Four ingredients. No oven. No special skills. Just pure crunchy, melty, salty-sweet satisfaction.
Kids can help make them, they’re great for holiday cookie trays, and they disappear so fast you’ll wish you’d doubled the batch.
Kitchen Tips
- Stir constantly while melting in the double boiler so the butterscotch doesn’t seize up or scorch
- Work quickly once you add the cereal; the mixture firms up fast as it cools
- Use a cookie scoop for uniform clusters that look like you put in way more effort than you did
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature; they keep for about a week
