Cheesy Chicken Burritos
Not a very healthy version but they are loved by all! Serve with your favorite taco sauce.
4 Cooked, chopped chicken breast, add a little salt to the chicken if you desire.
1 package shredded cheddar or try jack cheese
1 container sour cream
1 can sliced black olives
black pepper to taste
Red or green bell pepper, chopped (optional)
1 package 10" flour tortillas
- In a large saucepan, sauté the onion. Then add bell pepper.
- Rinse, cut up the chicken and add to the onion.
- You may need to drain the liquid from your pan if there is a lot once your chicken is cooked thoroughly.
- Add the sour cream and mix on lower heat.
Add shredded cheddar. The sour cream and the cheese will melt together to make a thick sauce consistency. Add black pepper.
Grab a few flour tortillas and pop them in the microwave for about 15 seconds to help you form your burritos.
In another saucepan, add a few tablespoons of oil and heat it up in preparation for your burritos.
Have some oven gloves handy to rotate your burritos and cook them until they are golden brown on all sides. These are the easiest to use and you won't have to worry about burning your fingers.
