Baileys Irish Cream Truffles
Settle down around the fireplace with this snack that is sure to be gone in a matter of seconds!
Ingredients
12 | ounces |
chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
size large morsels |

¼ | cup |
heavy whipping cream
|
|
1 | tablespoon |
butter
|
|
2 | each |
egg yolks
|

¼ | cup |
liqueur
irish cream style |

Directions
Melt chocolate, Baileys and heavy cream together over very low heat.
Whisk in yolks, one at a time; mixture will thicken. Whisk in butter.
Refrigerate overnight, or until firm.
With spoon make small balls.
Roll in powdered sugar, cocoa, chopped nuts, sprinkles, etc.

over 11 years agoAbsolutely, Bonnie! There are so many ways to decorate these truffles, you can roll them into cocoa powder, icing sugar, or whatever sprinkles you like. They all taste delicious!!
