Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
¼ cup butter
1 large eggs
¾ cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
heaping tablespoons
¼ cup water
boiling

Directions

Mix together flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, butter, egg, buttermilk, cocoa and boiling water.

Mix well and bake in pan 1 hour in slow oven.
