| 1/2 | cup | vegetable shortening | |
| 2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 3/4 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
| 3/4 | cup | water | |
| 4 | cups | chicken | cooked, cut up |
| 1 | cup | soup, cream of chicken | |
| 1 | cup | sour cream | dairy |
| 4 | ounces | green chili peppers | chopped |
| 1/2 | cup | onion | chopped |
| 2 | cups | monterey jack cheese | grated |
| 1/4 | cup | scallions, spring or green onions | sliced |
Fry the ingredients together until fully cooked, letting the flavours blend.
Scoop into tortilla breads.
Serve
cooked chicken, lots of cheese for filling up tortilla shells. Another reviewer mentions raw chicken, ingredient here clear state cooked, cut-up chicken

I want to be very specific about why I have given this recipe the rating that I have. I give it such a low score because it's really only a list of ingredients since the directions are very vague. I would never think to add sour cream and raw chicken together in order to cook this. At minimum the chicken should be cooked separately or at most with the herbs and vegetables until cooked through then add the other ingriedients. Please update.

Thank you for including this in your datebase. When we are in Cincinnati, we LOVE to eat at Skyline. I am thrilled to find this recipe. It takes some getting used to, but once you develop a taste for this chili, the others pale in comparison!
