| 1 | ounces | chocolate unsweetened | unsweetened |
| 1/2 | cup | vegetable shortening | |
| 2 | tablespoons | artifical sweetener | |
| 2 | teaspoons | vanilla extract | |
| 2 | large | eggs | beaten |
| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/4 | cup | nuts | chopped |
Melt shortening and chocolate over low heat.
Remove from heat.
Add liquid sweetener (forgot to put in the recipe that it was liquid), vanilla and beaten eggs.
Stir until well blended. Add flour and baking soda, mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into greased 8 inch cake pan.
Bake at 325 degrees F. for 20 minutes, cool.
