Ingredients

1 cup cheese farmer
3 tablespoons walnuts fine, chopped
1/4 cup yogurt, plain low-fat
1 tablespoon dill weed fine, chopped
1 tablespoon parsley leaves fine, chopped
1 clove garlic minced
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 x boston lettuce
1/4 cup walnuts coarsely, chopped
1 x pita bread cut and toasted triangles for serving

Directions

Process the farmer's cheese, finely chopped walnuts, and yogurt in a food processor until smooth.

Transfer the cheese to a bowl and mix with herbs, garlic, and salt. Shape into a ball, cover, and refrigerate for 4 hours.

Line a small serving platter with several lettuce leaves and carefully transfer the cheese ball to the platter. Press the coarsely chopped walnuts into the ball so they more or less cover it. Serve with the toasted pita triangles.

Wreath Cookies

These are great, and easy - just be sure NEVER double your batch if you have to make a lot: the corn flakes will get soggy and the "batter" hard to handle!! (I found out the hard way!) Great treats, tho, and fun for kids to make, too!!
